Activists gather again for City Hall protest

A group of black community activists continued their protest outside Mayor Thomas Menino's office last Friday, to highlight what they say is the mayor's disregard for the community.

The nine activists assembled in the waiting room outside the mayor's office and vowed to return this Friday and wait until the mayor meets with them.

"We want to meet with the mayor and his staff," said activist Sadiki Kambon. "For some reason, he's refusing to meet with us."
