Fed: Fitzgibbon rises from hospital bed to address NATO

Defence Minister JOEL FITZGIBBON has checked himself out of a Polish hospital .. to
deliver his address to the NATO summit after suddenly falling ill.

Mr FITZGIBBON .. a fit 47-year-old .. fell ill on Friday in Krakow, Poland .. and was
rushed by ambulance to a nearby military hospital.

He spent two hours on a drip as doctors conducted tests to determine the cause of his
fever and shivering .. but was given a clean bill of health and refused doctors' advice
to stay in …
